Cormac O'Caoimh in the BAG

Just two gigs left before the summer break of six weeks, writes Roy Thompson of the Ballymore Acoustic Gigs. Six weeks without your local live music outlet, so do please make every effort to come along! And two crackers in store, too.

The first of those is a super songwriter from Cork — yet another one from the Rebel County; there must be something in the water down there! Cormac O'Caoimh has a fine sound that I think you'll like; a little different than many of the acts we've seen lately, it's kind of jazzy, kind of indie pop, ish!

Think along the lines of Prefab Sprout, mixed with Sonny Condell/Scullion, and you're heading in the right direction. Check out the videos and see for yourselves.
