Street resurfacing next week

Preparatory work was being carried out on drains at Nicholastown and Main Street yesterday prior to a much-needed resurfacing of roads in Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.

The resurfacing is scheduled to start next week, and will take about five days to complete.

Much of the actual resurfacing, which will begin at the bridge and initially do the street to the traffic lights, will be done at night so as to minimise traffic disruption.

The street from the lights to Nicholastown will then be completed.
