Bernard has retired
I see in The Bridge that Bernard Berney has quietly retired from his pharmacy business, writes Brian Byrne.
That's good. He'll have a little more time on his hands. Maybe he can do a bit of acting, MC at community events, write a bit for the Bridge, ease the worries of and joke with his friends and neighbours in the community, do a bit of management work in the Bridge, help out with the Seniors, consider religion, philosophise, enjoy his grandchildren ...
Oh, wait ... he's always done those things too. And so much more.
