Annmarie to speak on publishing

Local writer Annmarie Miles is one of four featured blogger/authors who will talk about their publishing stories at the KLCK Bloggers Meetup in Carlow next Monday, writes Brian Byrne.

annmarienight8Annmarie is the self-published author of 'The Long & The Short of it', a book of her short stories based on family and life observations. She will speak about how the book came about, at the event in Enterprise House in Carlow, beginning at 7.30pm. She is a member of the Kilcullen Writing Group and this week won the Newbridge June Fest Miscellany competition.

The other featured writers are Mark Graham from Waterford, whose 'A Year of Festivals in Ireland' came out of his blog of the same name; Fiona Dillon from Carlow, author of 'Food from an Irish Garden'; and Lorna Sixsmith, who wrote the non-fiction and very humorous 'Would You Marry A Farmer?'.

The event is free, but the organisers would like anyone going to let them know here.
