Rock it at The Wesleyan
Back in the real rock 'n' roll days of the late 50s and early 60s, the Wesleyan Hall on the Curragh Camp was a favourite place for the local swingers to let their hair down, writes Brian Byrne.
And next Friday, 16 May, those who still have the memories and the ability to shake it all out can enjoy a nostalgic revival in aid of the PRIDE Family Resource Centre.
The 'Fifty-Niners' will play the gig, from 8-10.30pm, and entry is a mere €5 ... probably a lot less in real terms than it was to get in way back then.
Make a diary note to go back, for a few hours, to the old days in the time-warp.
