Lions invitation to Seniors

Kilcullen Lions Club is inviting everyone in the community over the age of 65 to its annual Senior Citizens Party, writes Brian Byrne.

This year the party is on Friday 16 May in the Parish Centre, following 7.30pm mass in Kilcullen Parish Church.

The Lions have hosted the party for ten years, and send invitations to those on the list maintained by the parish's Senior Citizens Committee.

"We know there are many others in the community whose names we haven’t got," a spokesperson told the Diary. "We are asking you, if you are over 65 and would like to join the party, please get in touch with us by calling Sheila on 481535, Mary on 481329 or Eileen on 481328, or leave your name with Bernard at the Pharmacy."

A light supper will be served at the event, followed by music, dancing and singing.
