Miriam's Mini Marathon call

Miriam McDonnell is organising a local team to take part in the Womens Mini Marathon on June 2, in aid of the Oblate Lourdes Fund which brings people to the shrine every autumn, writes Brian Byrne.

Sponsor cards are available for the Miriam McDonnell & Friends team from Curragh Lawn at Kinneagh, The Curragh.

Miriam stresses that anyone interested in taking part should register immediately at the Mini Marathon website.

The pilgrimage, on which a number of local people act as helpers each year, is from 17-22 September 2014.
