KBC is very busy still

Another busy week in KBC with four teams involved in matches in their respective leagues. The first outing of the Ladies 1 captained by Caroline Sheedy was held at home in the Complex, Kilcullen. In their first match held on 31 October the KBC team of Carloine, Lynsey, Aoife and sub Aine Moody beat Portarlington BC 4-0. On November 1, again at home, the Ladies 1 of Caroline, Lynsey, Michell, and Aoife were beaten by Kilkenny's Johnswell 3-1 in a closely fought match.

Saturday 2 November saw the first outing of the Mixed 3 team captained by Enda O’Neill when they played away to PBAI in Division 6, Dublin District League. All I can say is the nerves must have gotten the better of them and they suffered a massive 8-0 defeat to a very well organised and coached PBAI team. Team motto here “Things can only get better!” So hard luck to Enda, John Mullen, Fintan Phelan, Vincent Collier, Ann Marie Cunningham, Jen Monaghan, Helen Rouse and Sarah Walshe.

On Monday 4 November Mix 4 captained by Olivier P Valroy play their first match in division 9 of the DDL beating Rathfarnham 4-0, this is a fantastic start to their league so well done to Olivier, Meave P Valroy, Nicole Dannaher, and Kasi Vallinayagam, this leaves them top of the Division 9 table.

Mens 3 captained by Kasi Vallinayagam had a hard fought match against Athy in their SWL, drawing 2-2 in the end. Well done again to Kasi, Olivier, Colin P Valroy and super sub Fintan Phelan.
