Blue and yellow colours in the spring

Next spring should see a blue and yellow display in the street flower tubs on Kilcullen's Main Street, the recent meeting of Kilcullen Community Action heard.

Celia Travers noted that the tubs had been emptied of their old soil and repacked with new soil and fresh compost. Each had been planted with new bulbs, which will result in the blue and yellow flowers next year.

There was also a discussion on reviving a mobile pumped watering system for the tubs and baskets not on the automatic system. It involved a submersible pump in a water barrel on a trailer and was very successful.
