Great start for KBC Mens 1

Tuesday the 1st of October saw the first outing of Kilcullen Badminton Club’s Mens 1 team captained by Paddy Burke, writes Enda O'Neill. They played Baltinglass side Bough, comprehensively beating them 4-0.

The first game saw Paddy and Gareth Hogan winning their game 21-9 and 21-7, while in the second game Dave McClean and Darren Lee won 21-9 and 21-13.

The third game the pairing of Gareth and Darren won 21-14, 21-15 while in the final set Paddy and Dave took the spoils 21-14 and 21-3.

This is a fantastic result as the lads didn’t even drop a set, showing their summer practice really paid off. Congrats to the lads and best of luck in their next match.
