Community Awards suggestions roll in

There's been a strong public response to the call for nominations for this year's Community Awards, writes Brian Byrne.

The suggestions include individuals and groups, and Monday night's meeting of Kilcullen Community Action, which organises the Awards, emphasised that there's a short window left for further suggestions. They can be emailed to kilcullencommunityaction@gmail.com or given to any KCA member.

The Awards Night is 25 October, and the local prizes for Tidy Towns effort will also be presented on the night.

The event is held in the Heritage Centre.
