AFC ladies through to Final

Great result in CastlebarKilcullen AFC ladies are through to the Umbro FAI Ladies Cup Final following a fantastic win over a very strong Castlebar team, writes Ray Kelly.

Kilcullen went 1-0 up until Castlebar equalised to send the game to extra time. Kilcullen then went 2-1 down and equalised to send the game to sudden death penalties. Kilcullen came through the penalty shoot out by 4 goals to 2.

Loads of heroes throughout the game. This is an amazing achievement by the team and management. They are now through to the Cup Final which is provisionally scheduled for two weeks' time in Newbridge town.
