Farewell planned for Fr Murphy

Fr Michael leavingFr Michael Murphy will be leaving us in August, having served the Parish of Kilcullen & Gormanstown as Parish Priest for nine years.

Fr Michael has decided to take a sabbatical before taking up his next appointment, and before he goes the Parish Council is proposing to hold a mass and farewell ceremony in the Parish Centre towards the end of August. All parishioners of all ages are invited.

The date has not yet been set, but the Council will announce it when it is arranged. It is hoped to make a presentation to Fr Michael on the evening, and envelopes will be distributed in the coming weeks for parishioners who wish to make a contribution, or they can be had at the Parish Office.
