Cheque presentation to Make A Wish

Charity gains from Kilcullen generosityThe recent Make A Wish Foundation fundraising night in Joey's Hideout was very successful, raising some €1,600 for the charity, writes Brian Byrne.

A cheque will be presented to a representative of the Foundation tonight, Friday, in the Hideout, by the organisers.

It's expected the presentation will take place around 11pm. "We want to show the community of Kilcullen how much they contributed to this cause," says one of the organisers, Elaine Haslam.
