The Diary has learned of the death of Nicky Myers, Main Street. His passing breaks a long link with generational families in this part of town.

Details of Nicky’s funeral arrangements will be available later, but as one of the people who remember him from when we were growing up, your editor wishes his spirit the traditional resting in peace.
