Oisin again on Irish Slalom Team

Kilcullen Canoe Club member Oisin O Fearghail has retained his place on the Irish Junior Slalom Team, after coming third in his weekend race at Leixlip.

The 16-year-old has only been slaloming for 18 months, and competed in the K1 Mens U/18 category at the World Slalom Championships held in Wisconsin, USA, last July.

Oisin goes to school at Gaelcholaiste Chill Dara in Naas.

Also at the weekend, his sister Ciara Ni Fearghail won first place in her Slalom.
