Table Quiz for Hospice

A Table Quiz in aid of St Brigid's Hospice on The Curragh is being held in McTernan's on February 28, writes Brian Byrne.

It's being organised by Vivian Clarke and Mary Masterson, and cost of entry is €30 per table of four. There will be some serious spot prizes and a raffle on the night.

Vivian is preparing the questions, and there's a hint already—if you know your Kilcullen, you'll be in with a good chance. 

Even the Big G won't know those answers, so you can leave your smartphone at home.

Meanwhile, all friends of Donal St Leger will be glad to know that he has come through his major operation and his doctor is pleased with his progress.

On the downside, though, it's not at all likely that he'll be travelling again in time to get home to Kilcullen for Punchestown.
