Spring Soccer League planned

The Soccer Skills Academy is taking the first steps to organising a 6-a-side Soccer League beginning in March, to be held at the Kilcullen All-Weather Pitch.

The 8-team adult league will involve matches played once a week for 14 weeks, each of 30 minutes duration and with a referee.

Prizes will be given to the winning team and to the top goalscorer.

The cost is €4 per player each week, and each team is allowed a squad of nine players.

At the moment the day of the week and starting date are under consideration, but the proposals are either a Monday or Thursday evening, between 8-10pm.
