Crosses ... and cakes too

The St Brigid's Cross making morning in the Parish Centre on Monday 28 January will also include an added attraction, a Cake Sale.

The event is from 10am-12noon, and is in aid of funds for St Joseph's National School in Halverstown.

Reeds and expert tuition are being provided for the St Brigid's Cross part of the morning, and a donation of just €1 is asked towards the funds.

Participants get to take their own crosses home. No booking required, just turn up. It'll be a fun occasion for a good cause.
