Scoil Bhríde Christmas Fair next Sunday

The Scoil Bhríde National School Annual Christmas Fair takes place in the school on Sunday 9 December 2012 from midday until 2.30pm, writes Fiona Smith.

There will be lots of crafts, toys, cakes and festive treats. Santa will be making an appearance and there will be face painting for the kids. We have a monster raffle this year with some fantastic prizes including an Apple iPad, a Kindle, €100 White Water Shopping Centre Voucher, €150 Voucher for Bord na Móna peat briquettes and many more prizes listed below.

The Parents Association would like to take this opportunity to thank all the businesses in the town who have generously supported our requests for sponsorship and donations. To date we have received donations from Murphy Design & Build Solutions, Kilsaran, John Craddock, Curragh Lawn Nursing Home and Murphy Surveys. In addition we have received very generous vouchers from Headrush, Berneys Chemist, Hair Emporium, Fraser Oil, Dave Clancy Floral Design, Dunleas Garage, and Bord na Móna .

We have also received a necklace from Frill, polo shirts from Berneys Saddlery, a gift box from Burkes Pharmacy, fantastic gift sets from Newbridge Silverware, a luxury pillow set from Kaymed, confectionary from Centra, bottles of spirits and wine from The Spout, DayBreak, Fraser Oil, Bardons, Nolans Butchers, O’Connell’s and Carry Out Off Licence and a hamper from The Good Food Gallery.

We would also like to thank all who have bought tickets for the raffle. The tickets are €2 and will be available at the fair on Sunday. Come and join us for some festive cheer!!!
