Credit Union Poster Competition presentation

There was once again a very enthusiastic response to the annual Schools Poster Competition organised by Kilcullen Credit Union.

At a presentation occasion last week, certificates were presented to the winners and commended in the four categories.

In the 7 Years and Under section they were 1 Kelly Mangan (Scoil Bhride), 2 Thea Piggott (Brannockstown), 3 Nathen Ng (Scoil Bhride) and commended were Cassie Mallon (Brannockstown), Kaelah Taaffe (Scoil Bhride) and Ava Noone (Scoil Bhride).

In the 8-10 Years they were 1 Leon Cullen, 2 Emily Rooney, 3 Emma Doherty, and commended were Rebecca Jie Ying Chen, Jake Tyrrell, and Chloe Acton (all foregoing from Scoil Bhride).

In the 11-13 Years the winners were 1 Megan Fanning (Scoil Bhride), 2 Julia Arseniuk (Halverstown), 3 Aaron Kennedy (Scoil Bhride) and commended were Fiona Eguare (Scoil Bhride), Amie Dempsey (Halverstown) and Anna Hourihan (Halverstown).

The Special Needs category winners were 1 Stephen Sheering, 2 Aodan McFadden, 3 Lee O'Brien and commended were Cathal Roe, Kevin Kinsella, Dylan Rooney, Aoibheann kearney, Evan Jordan and James Doyle.
