CU cheque for Seniors fund

The Kilcullen Credit Union participation in the Kilcullen River Festival 2012 resulted in €500 being collected for the local Senior Citizens fund.

The money came from donations by those who had tea and refreshments on the day in Credit Union House, and from a soccer shoot-out competition.

The cheque was recently presented to Dolores Duffy of Kilcullen Senior Citizens by the Credit Union. Expressing the group’s thanks for the funds, the SC Committee also paid tribute to Paudge Byrne of Conroy Park for a fundraiser there.
