Gathering meeting planned

A special meeting will be held on Tuesday October 23 to consider proposals for Kilcullen participation in next year's nationwide 'Gathering' event.

The meeting will be held in the Credit Union, and all who have an interest in helping, or with a proposal, are welcome to attend.

The idea is to have as many of Kilcullen's emigrants as possible to come home during 2013, around events which might attract many of them at the one time.

All organisations and clubs in the town are being contacted with a view to participation.
