Still time for Community Awards nominations

A significant number of nominations for the 2012 Kilcullen Community Awards have been received, the latest meeting of Kilcullen Community Action heard, writes Brian Byrne.

But there's still time for nominations of groups, clubs and individuals who have contributed to the quality of life of the community during this and recent years.

Any such nominations should be made to kilcullencommunityaction@gmail.com, or by post to Noel Clare, New Abbey, Kilcullen.

The Community Awards Night is scheduled for October 19, in the Heritage Centre, from 8pm. All welcome.
