A busy night it was
Well, it did promise to be a busy night in Kilcullen, and that's exactly what it turned out to be. Your editor was only able to dip in and out of things, but the pictures will tell the story for the moment.
A full house in the Library (above and below) for the Writers Open Mic. Contributors to the most interesting evening included John Martin, Emmett O'Sullivan, Mary Barber, Emer Byrden, your editor, Maeve Roe, Jane Travers, Pauline Fagan, Frank Morrow, Ilona Blunden, Bernadette Melia and Hazel Gaynor.
And an equally full one below where Roy Thompson and residents and friends of Bridge Camphill entertained in the beautiful atmosphere of the community's theatre.
And finally, a truly packed night in The Spout for Jimmy Aspell's fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society.
