Ladies party with cup before title defence

They won their Kildare League cup last year, and now Kilcullen Ladies AFC are getting down to defending their title this season, writes Brian Byrne.

But before the tough stuff starts, it was time to party at the weekend, and swing with the League cup in advance of getting down to business.

Still top of the league last week, they brought the trophy to Bardons on Sunday night for a quick fling.

Next time you see them all together, they’ll be much more serious. Smiles on the pitch only come with scores.
