Sports to the fore at Open Evening
Seven Kilcullen-based sports clubs are among the 18 clubs and groups which have so far signed up to participate in next Friday's Community & Sports Open Evening, writes Brian Byrne.
They include Boxing, Badminton, GAA, Pitch & Putt, Bowls, Canoeing and Soccer.
Social and community organisations registered to date include the Community Playgroup, the Carer & Toddler Group, Kilcullen Youth Club (KiYC), Kilcullen Lions, Maintain Hope, the Irish Red Cross, the Community Centre, and Kilcullen Credit Union.
Two residents associations have signed up, Castlemartin Lodge and Avondale.
The event is being organised by PJ Fagan (right) in conjunction with Kilcullen 2017, and is being held in the Community Centre on Friday 8 June from 7.30-9.30pm.
