New officers of KCA elected at AGM
Esther Kiely is the new Chair of Kilcullen Community Action Ltd, following last night's AGM of the organisation, writes Brian Byrne. She takes over from Kieran Forde, who is the new Treasurer.
Ray Kelly was elected to the position of Secretary of the company, which promotes Kilcullen's interests in a variety of areas, including Tidy Towns and Environment.
A presentation of flowers was made (above) to Orla O'Neill, who has stepped down from the positions of Secretary and Treasurer, to be able to spend more time on the Community Playgroup & Family Resource Centre project, and Kilcullen 2017, the implementation body for the Community Development Plan.
Outgoing Chair Kieran Forde thanked Orla for all the work she had done in bringing the original ad hoc group to the status of a limited company, and for her unstinting commitment to helping KCA gather funding for various high-profile projects. Orla will remain a member of KCA.
The Diary will provide further details from the AGM during the coming days.
