Going strong in The Best Place to Live

The Diary—and pretty well everything, and everybody else in Kilcullen—got a mention in Orla O'Neill's submission to the Irish Times's ongoing quest to find The Best Place to Live in Ireland. We particularly like the reference to 'the king of the old-timers'.

The submission was also printed in today's woodpulp edition. Lovely piece, Orla.

Previous submissions by Esther Kiely and Cliona Kelliher have laid a base for a good outing for the town in this competition. The more others who do, the better.
