Teen Theatre in rehearsal

Drama Dynamics Teen Theatre will be staging their annual full length play on Tues 24 April, writes Evelyn O'Sullivan, and on Wednesday 25, and Friday 27 at 8pm. The play will be performed in Cross & Passion College.

'Out of the frying pan' is a comedy by Francis Swann and tells the story of three young men and three young women who share an apartment for economic reasons as they are all out of work actors.

Their apartment is immediately above that of a successful Broadway producer. They rehearse a play but how can they get him upstairs to see it? It happens that the producer is an avid cook and in the middle of an important recipe runs out of flour and comes upstairs to borrow a cup.

At last the kids have him and they aren't going to let him go until he sees the play. It is so realistic that the police swarm into the scene with hilarious results.
