Septic tank meeting in Kilcullen

An information evening on the waste water and septic tank debate will be held in Kilcullen Town Hall next Wednesday evening, 28 March at 8pm, writes Brian Byrne.

The event is organised by Irish Rural Link, whose objective is to 'bring some clarity' to the issue. and it is part of a series of local information evenings being held in County Kildare.

The meeting will discuss the draft standards recently provided by the Department of the Environment relating to standards for the operation and maintenance of septic tanks and other waste water treatment systems.
