Scoil Bhride to get an extension

Scoil Bhride is to get an extension in 2014 as part of the €1.5bn investment programme announced today by the Department of Education.

It is one of nine schools in the south of the county which will get new buildings or extensions under the scheme.

The programme is forecast to create 15,000 direct jobs and some 3,000 indirectly over its 5-year life.
