Grandparents Day at Halverstown

Some 31 grandparents came to St Joseph's NS in Halverstown on Wednesday last to participate in the school's annual Grandparents Day.

As well as from the immediate locality, some travelled from Dublin, Kilkenny, Tipperary and all over Kildare. They took part in baking, games, art, football, made St Brigid's crosses, had a singsong and ended with high tea which included home baked scones made by the children and Ethna Dempsey.
