Found cat Gary reunited with owner

UPDATE: This is a beautiful stray cat found by Dave Clancy over the weekend, and to update our earlier story, he has just found his owner.

"The cat was covered in paint, I think it was done over Halloween," Dave told the Diary. "I brought it to the vet and it has been neutered. Some hair had to be shaven off to clear the paint, but the cat is in good shape."

Very good shape and was in a good place tonight, as Dave kept him in his shop in the hope that the owner will turn up. "A customer brought in food and a cat bed for it, so it's comfortable."

Anyhow, the cat's name is Gary, and he has now been reunited with his owner. Dave says 'thanks' to all who helped.
