WEATHER

Cold, dry and bright today with frost and any icy patches slow to clear. It will turn cloudier this evening with a little rain spreading from the west after dark. Highest afternoon temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees , turning less cold later, with light southerly winds increasing moderate to fresh.

DID YOU KNOW?

Desert sand dunes are known to 'sing', in some cases making sounds as loud as those heard in a concert hall. It's believed the sounds are produced when air pushes through millions of sand grains as they tumble into new positions during certain weather conditions.

Good night for Seniors from Lions

There were 85 guests of the Kilcullen Lions Club at the annual Seniors Party held on Friday night in the Parish Centre.
