Call for singers for Chriunniu

The organisers of Kilcullen's fourth Kilcullen Parish Gathering, Chruinniu Chriost, are appealing for musicians to entertain people on the day.

The event is planned for 19 June and is an open invitation to all the people of Kilcullen, whether churchgoing or not, to come together in one place at one time to celebrate together.

Participants will gather in the Square in Kilcullen at 2pm, with Mass at 3pm behind Scoil Bhride, followed by entertainment and a picnic. As in previous years smaller groups will progress from the four ‘corners’ of the parish to the square where they will be welcomed by the people gathered there.

The first Holy Communion children will head the procession, carrying flowers to lay in front of the Altar.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic which can be enjoyed after the Mass with some of our local talent.

An indoor venue is on standby in case of bad weather.
