Kilcullen artist in Naas exhibition

An exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculpture will be held in Naas Library from 22 March, with works by Kilcullen artist Adeline Poufong and Davitt Steed.

The show is called 'Different Strokes' and will run through 26 March.

Adeline Poufong was a consistent winner in the Kilcullen Credit Union Schools Art competitions down through the years. She studied Ceramic Design in the Limerick School of Art & Design, but also paints. She is open to exploring other art forms.

Adeline enjoys working figuratively both with animals and the human figure and her dream is to continue making, painting, drawing, knitting, and creating things in general. Her work is available for purchase and commissions are accepted. Last September she had work included in the 'Sculpture in Context' exhibition at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin.

Davitt Steed graduated from IADT DĂșn Laoghaire in 2009 where he Studied Visual Communications. He has a passion for design, drawing and music and where possible likes to combine all three. He is currently working on freelance design and illustration projects.

The exhibition opening night is 22nd March at 8pm. All are welcome.
