Playground comes closer

Achieved after many years of campaigning, the playground work is now well underway, with the completion of the services work to the site at the Community Centre campus.

The facilities at the playground, which is being financed by Kildare County Council, local donations, and Kildare Leader, will include a 30 Cablerider, swings of various kinds, a Natural Fitness & Coordination Trail, Climbing Wall, Play Panels for younger children, a Mound & Log fun trail, an Orbital Roundabout and Climbing Boulder.

In addition, there will be picnic tables, including one designed for disabled access, and planters.
