Kilcullen out of Intermediates by point

Kilcullen are out of the Intermediate Championship after a narrow 1-5 to 0-7 defeat to Kill today.

The Rags had battled back from a 1-4 to 0-2 half-time deficit to almost get the draw that would have seen them through, but it wasn't to be.

Scorers: P Jones, B Bell 0-2f each; J Lambe, J Whyte, S Lambe 0-1 each.
