Generous response to parish fundraising

Two fundraising events associated with the parish in recent weeks shows that there is still a great sense of generosity in our community.

The recent Golf Classic held in aid of parish funds raised €4,050, which has been presented to Fr Michael Murphy.

And the local contribution to the Diocesan Collection in aid of flood relief in Pakistan came to €5,086.

Fr Murphy thanked all concerned for their generosity 'despite these striken times'.
