Kilcullen AFC capture League title

Kilcullen AFC first team bounced back from their League Cup final defeat last Sunday to wrap up the League today with a fine 2-1 win against second placed Rathangan. AFC went a goal down early but pulled back two goals to seal the League.



Goals from Trevor Harris and top scorer Brian Kelly saw AFC revenge last years league Title loss to Rathangan.

The performance today was one of the best seen by a Kilcullen Team in years. Overall a great team performance and a great reward for the players and to the management team of Fergal Finn and John Berney.
