Church painting complete

A repainting of Kilcullen's Parish Church is almost complete, and weekday masses have resumed in the church.

During the painting project, weekday masses were held in the Parish Centre.

Fr Michael Murphy PP says that when the bills for all the work are paid the parish purse 'will be quite empty'. "Of course, it is all money well spent, but we are going to have to engage in some serious fundraising for the parish to build up our funds again so that we can continue to implement our five-year Pastoral Development Plan for the parish."
