Cemetery Sunday 2007

There was an excellent turnout for the parish Cemetery Sunday, which took place this afternoon in overcast but dry and warm weather.



The blessings of the graves were carried out by Frs Supple, Ryan and Murphy, first in the new cemetery, St Brigid's, and afterwards in New Abbey, where mass was celebrated.



Full credit must be paid to John Brady and his colleagues for the appearance of the graveyards, and also for the tremendous organisation of traffic and parking.
