Time to be scared ...

Well, it's almost like Christmas at Hallowe'en, now, isn't it ... with the long runup to the feast.



The scary and funny bits are all beginning to appear in the shops and other premises in town. To give you a flavour, the Diary will feature a number of pieces through the next week.

The pumpkin at the top is in Adrian Dunne's Family Pharmacy, and the shouting witch from John Joe and Noreen Dowling's shop.

Enjoy ... and be scared. Be really scared, because you never know when you'll meet a real one.
