Fencing at Donnelly's Hollow

A fence was recently erected around part of Donnelly's Hollow.



Apart from the fact that it is quite an ugly fence, and takes significantly from the look of one of the local favourite leisure spots, the Diary is curious as to why it was erected.

Kildare County Council say it is nothing to do with them. We are sending a query to the Department of 'De Fence' (sorry!), which has jurisdiction over the Curragh Plains.
