Different attitudes

A lot of you will be familiar with Dublin Airport, and the kind of place it is. Not great, certainly not in the business of giving anything free to its customers.

Well, it's different in most German airports. Like Munich. What you see above is a coffee stand at the gate, with a newspaper stand beside it.

And both are free. The facilities are replicated close to every few gates.

DAA please copy? Some chance.

(And notice, though you pour your coffee into paper cups, there's not one used one on the floor, or even on any of the the tables at one of which I was sitting. You can see the bin in the foreground where people discard their waste. Without there even being a notice asking them to. Kilcullen people please copy?)
