A walk on the dirty side

A recent complaint by Kilcullen Community Action relating to a poor cleaning operation in the town by Kildare County Council is well understood by local walkers.

In particular, the footpath from the Pinkeen Stream bridge to the Sunnyhill Road, used by many people from the several Castlemartin estates and from the town itself, is dangerously covered in debris and composting matter.

As we write, it's not known if Kildare County Council has made any response to local entreaties.
