Super Valu robbery

Raiders who broke into the Super Valu supermarket yesterday morning were interrupted by gardai who had been alerted by the triggering of the burglar alarm.

The three raiders broke in through the roof in the early hours, and fled on foot when gardai arrived.

It is believed they stole a vehicle locally to complete their escape.
