Plans to lower wall nearly ready

A coming board meeting of KARE will be presented with plans for a proposed lowering of the wall around the Cross and Passion Convent premises.

The plan is to cut down the size of the wall and put an open railing on the top. New lighting would also be installed in the grounds of the premises, which is now a KARE facility.

A planning application wil then be made on behalf of KARE for the changes.

The changes will improve a security situation on the property which has changed since the premises had ceased to be a school with a full-time student and nuns' population.
