Liffey View proposal lauded

A proposal to refurbish Liffey View house as offices was described as an 'absolutely fantastic improvement' at the most recent meeting of Kilcullen Community Action.

Under the 'planning' section of the agenda, chairman for the evening Noel Clare said the promoters planned to bring the listed Georgian building 'back to its former splendour'.

"It certainly looks like it would be exactly in keeping with what we have talked about over recent years, on retaining the character of the town," he said.

Noel Clare noted that there was plenty of time to look more closely at the application, as it had been improperly submitted on a number of 'very small points' and would have to be re-submitted.

The application has been made by Arquette Ltd, promoted by Ed and Noel Corcoran with an adress in Kinsealy, Co Dublin.
